I have 2 through pw hybrids. Where do I set the ball for the 7-pw?

Not necessarily all the detail are here @Alex. The club face is closing on an arc so if you aim the path of your club on this ball-flag line, it'll draw to the left if you are good, or slice because you'll see the discrepancy when you're over the ball and compensate. Because you are a strong player, your path is actually systematically aimed slightly to the right to get a mini draw.

Hello Alex, I have lost my pitching wedge. I hit it left now, I can’t get it in position when I take club back, I think I turn ok but it goes left, I can hit my 9 iron better. It is driving me bonkers. 4/5 year ago could land it on a sixpence 2/3 years not playing now back and this what’s the reason please

I'm very new to golf, like not even a month so I am trying to learn as much as I possibly can. I slice really bad and have been lining up the ball with the inside heel of my front foot because thats what everyone says to do so I will give this a try but it seems like this is just a way for you to be able to hit straight with a bad swing instead of correcting the swing itself, is that correct?

Alex, I need your help. I keep chunking my irons and I don't know why. My weight is left, am not swaying, am following through on my shots. But every other shot is a chunk.

I’m the same with my shoulder it seems as if my sense of direction is all of when standing over the ball

I don’t think this is adopting natural posture when you’re suggesting predetermined checkpoints. I’ve seen many golfers more hunched over or more upright at address and that’s their “natural” posture. Take Jim Furyk for example. He stands very tall with his hands very close and that’s his natural posture.

Just getting back into golf after a shoulder injury, these videos have been such a help rebuilding my swing. My consistent issue seems to be hitting straight but a good 20-30 degrees to the left of where I’m set up and aiming. I’ve followed your advice on ball position and placement in my stance, so I’m thinking it’s more to do with not turning with the swing enough and actually connecting true to the ball just with an open angle. Any thoughts?

Alex have worked on so many of your tips and doing well , posture is good , my irons / fairway woods are great generally straight . However need a drill around release for the driver ie straighter arms and point towards the fairway rather then chicken wings ? I’m straighter then I was but need that little more distance . Most weekend golfers are standing too far from the ball. From there, they usually swing too hard; then in an effort to gain balance, they lift their upper body, stand up and early extend.

I follow this but you leave out the weight transfer and pivot! I get into the backswing and start too fast and don't transfer my wight! Plese show when to start the pivot during the backswing!

I'd like to see you do a video about the holy grail of golf. Look it up on youtube. It is the single best swing advice I've ever seen. It fixes most problems with a swing. Most people swing the club the wrong way... when you try it-- you can't untry it. Mind blowing.

Yeah. I’m more stanced like Finau so there’s no exact posture for everyone. Only what feels natural and is easily repeatable with good results.

Neat! That's where my dad taught me to grip the club, and how I've gripped it for 35 years. It's interesting to learn in greater detail WHY he told me to do so. He was a WAY better golfer than I am. He peaked at +2, I peaked at like 10.

As you say Alex "natural posture" for every single golfer. What is good for Rory and Tommy doesn't necessarily mean it is good for me. I have been using this same posture for almost 70 years now, so why change now! Well Done Alex! Keep up the good work!!!
